01 / Arrival Jaipur
Arrive Jaipur, Meet assist at the airport &
transfer to hotel.
Jaipur- the fabled "pink city" of the
desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja
of Jaipur. This is the only city in the world
symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe
through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing
it. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears,
which were witnesses to the royal processions
and splendours, are now living monuments.

02 / Jaipur
After a leisurely breakfast, visit the majestic
Amber Fort, the one that cannot be easily described.
You ride up on Elephants to the former capital
of the royals set against the backdrop of the
wooded hills. Post lunch tour of the Palace of
Winds also known as Hawa Mahal. This elaborate
building, now little more than a façade,
is encrusted with delicate screens and carved
balconies from which the royal ladies, confined
to their quarters, could sneakily view the outside
world. Past, present and future merge at Jai Singh's
observatory, where time has been accurately measured
since the 17th century. Later also visit Birla
Mandir - a unique monument with exquisite marble
carvings. In the evening enjoy your dinner at
Chokhi dani (an ethnic village resort) where you
will have an idea of the village life of Rajasthan.
Enjoy various traditional Rajasthani dances, puppet
show and various other interesting activities.

03 / Jaipur - Mandawa (By Road - 151kms - 03hrs)
Morning drive to Mandawa - famous for the high
quality frescoes. Arrive Mandawa and transfer
to hotel. After lunch sightseeing of Mandawa to
appreciate the painted Havelis on the ancient
and the famous silk route. Overnight at hotel.

04 / Mandawa - NawalGarh - Dundlod - Mandawa
After breakfast excursion to Nawalgarh, which
is 8kms from Mandawa. It has a colourful bazaar
and two forts. There is also interesting temple
in town including Ganga Mai near Nansa Gate. Later
visit Dundlod and Ratangarh. Sight seeing of the
frescoland, Shekhawati Haveli's & the local
market Evening back to Mandawa. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast drive to Bikaner, tucked away
in the desert region of western Rajasthan. Arrive

Morning sightseeing of Bikaner covering the unusual
Junagarh Fort, sumptuously decorated with its
ornately lacquered walls in red & gold and
panels of dazzling coloured glass inlay set over
the coronation throne. After lunch excursion tour
to Deshnok (Karni Mata Temple) devoted to an incarnation
of Durga. The sacred rats and their life is reconfirmation
of the almighty power of the Goddess. Overnight

Morning drive to the ancient caravan city of Jaisalmer
enroute visiting Gajner & Kolayat. Gajner
35kms from Bikaner is famous for Gajner Palace

Later visit Kolayat, a beautiful village with
Havelis. Later drive to Jaisalmer and transfer

Explore the honey-coloured fort that emerges from

Morning drive to Udaipur, an oasis in the desert
state of Rajasthan Enroute visit Kumbhalgarh,

in a near-perfect condition for over 500 years.
The most attractive features are the 29 halls
of the temple, which have 1444 pillars of which

Morning sightseeing of Ajmer visiting Anasagar,
an artificial lake. On one embankment is the marble
'baradaries' (pavilions) erected by Shahajahan
in 1637 and the other side is a park (Daulat Bagh)
Later visit the Dargarh, located in the heart
of the old city is the tomb of the Sufi saint-Khwaja
Moinuddin Chishti. Beyond the dargah is a building
of unusual architecture. Post lunch tour of Pushkar
(11kms. From Ajmer) Quiet and tranquil, Pushkar
is a heaven for tourist searching for respite.
A religious town built around a lake, it is best
known for the annual camel/cattle fair that turns
the heaven into a riot of colour. Overnight at

After breakfast drive to Ranthambhore, famous
for the wildlife sanctuary, which is said to have
the India's friendliest Tigers and also considered

cities of Agra and Jaipur in the northwest, it
is famous for Keoladeo Ghana bird sanctuary, which

fauna. Birds come to this national park in waves.

preserved red sandstone "ghost town"

of the Seven Wonders of the World and the most
extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000
men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial

After breakfast visit Agra Fort, a hilltop citadel
with fabulous courtyards, fountains and gates.
Post lunch tour of Itmad-Ud-Dullah's tomb, or
the 'Baby Taj'. Less visited but much admired,
it bears striking mosaics inlaid with sparkling
stones.
Afternoon drive to Delhi and transfer to airport
