Arrive Delhi. Meet assist at the airport &

02 / Delhi
A leisurely breakfast and then sightseeing tour
of New Delhi, where ornate buildings recall the
days when India was the Jewel in the crown of
the British Empire. Visit the 11th century Qutab
Minar, India Gate and the grand government buildings,
the President's House, Red fort & Mahatma
Gandhi Memorial. Also visit Laxmi Narayan temple
popularly known as Birla Temple. Overnight at

03 / Delhi - Agra (By Road - 200kms - 04 hrs)
Morning drive to the city of Taj, Agra & transfer
to hotel. In the Evening visit the magnificent
Taj Mahal at sunset. One of the Seven Wonders
of the World and the most extravagant expression
of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for
over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's
beloved wife. It's a wealth of white marble and
semi-precious stone-undoubtedly the highlight

04 / Agra
After breakfast visit Agra Fort, a hilltop citadel
with fabulous courtyards, fountains and gates.
Post lunch tour of Itmad-Ud-Dullah's tomb, or
the 'Baby Taj'. Less visited but much admired,
it bears striking mosaics inlaid with sparkling
stones. Overnight at hotel.

05 / Agra - Jaipur (By Road - 250kms - 05hrs)
Morning drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur
Sikri, a perfectly preserved red sandstone "ghost
town" which was the estranged capital of
mughal emperor Akbar. Arrive Jaipur and transfer
to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

06 / Jaipur
After breakfast visit the majestic Amber Fort,
one that cannot be easily described. You ride
up on Elephants to the former capital of the royals
set against the backdrop of the wooded hills.
Later visit the City Palace, the royal residence
of the Maharaja of Jaipur and known for its stunning
architecture. It also houses a museum. Later visit
the Palace of Winds also known as Hawa Mahal.
This elaborate building, now little more than
a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens
and carved balconies from which the royal ladies,
confined to their quarters, could sneakily view
the outside world. Past, present and future merge
at Jai Singh's Observatory, where time has been
accurately measured since the 17th century. Overnight
at hotel.

07 / Jaipur - Samode - Jaipur
Morning drive to Samode, famous for the elegant
Samode Palace, nestled picturesquely amidst rugged
hills. Samode Palace with its stately grandeur
and frescoed walls is a pleasant journey into
the glorious past. The Palace is full of architectural
delights, the birds, animals and flowers painted
on the walls of Sultan Mahal, the dining room
with stained glass windows and its collection
of old family portraits. The Durbar Mahal
with its painted ceilings and intricately carved
walls and beautiful chandeliers give this place
its old world charm. Evening drive back to jaipur.

08 / Jaipur - Udaipur (By Road - 406kms - 08hrs)
Morning drive to Udaipur. An oasis in the desert
state of Rajasthan enroute visiting the Jain temples
at Ranakpur, superbly preserved in a near-perfect
condition for over 500 years. The most attractive
features are the 29 halls of the temple, which
have 1444 pillars of which no two are like. Arrive
Udaipur and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Morning sightseeing tour of Udaipur covering City
Palace, poised over Lake Pichola, iridescent with
tile and mirror inlay. Explore the town by walking
through the narrow, colourful winding lanes. Overnight
at hotel.

10 / Udaipur
After breakfast visit the famous Jain temples
of Nagda and Eklingji only 15kms from Udaipur.

11 / Udaipur - Delhi (By Flight)
Departure. After breakfast transfer to the airport
for flight to Delhi, Arrive Delhi and transfer
to airport for onward flight.
